8th Grade iPad Reset
This process can be done at some point tomorrow and no later than Wednesday morning.
8th Grade students who have purchased their iPads have been removed from the KSD 140 system. However, many students are still seeing that their iPad is "managed and supervised by KSD 140" (see photo above). In order to remove this and remove the added KSD 140 restrictions, students will need to complete an additional step. Please see below:
1. Open Settings
2. Tap "General"
3. Scroll to the bottom
4. Tap "Reset"
5. Tap "Erase All Content and Settings"
This will reset the iPad entirely, meaning photos, files, apps, etc. will be removed. If students want to keep these, they should back them up to Google Drive. Since the apps will also be deleted, they will need to redownload the Google Drive app from the App Store (NOT the App Portal). To do this after the iPad is reset, they will need to sign into the iPad/App Store with their Apple ID. Students will still have access to their Google accounts at least for the remainder of the week.
If the student has done this successfully, they will see a screen that says "Hello" when the iPad has finished resetting. They will need to manually set up the iPads for their own use (passcodes, Touch IDs, etc).
Material Drop Off-Remote Students
8th Grade-Keyboard. If not purchasing the iPad, the iPad, cord, and charging block.
7th Grade-Keyboard and Social Studies Textbook
6th Grade-Keyboard and 2 Social Studies Textbooks
REMINDER ... JUNE 11TH IS A HALF-DAY

2021-2022 BAND REGISTRATION FORM
Self-Certification Form
Parents/guardians need to fill out and sign a self-certification form before sending their students to school. Once at school, students will be given a certification booklet to use on subsequent days.
Please click here to access District 140’s Self-Certification form from ksd140.org. This form must be filled out and signed daily. It will be collected by the first point of District contact, (i.e. bus driver, teacher, or paraeducator) at the bus stop or entrance to the school.
In order to keep our doors open, it is imperative that families answer the daily self-certification questions honestly. Please keep your child home if they have a fever or are experiencing symptoms. By working together, we can keep everyone safe and in school.
