A Farewell Message from Mrs. Hyman
Hello Schwenksville Families,
When I joined the Schwenksville family in the fall of 2021, I was kindly welcomed with open arms by students, staff, and families alike. Schwenksville Elementary truly has an incredible sense of community and mutual support.
It is bittersweet to announce that I have chosen to leave my role of School Counselor (effective 10/31). During lessons about career choices I always talk to students about how their various skills could make them an ideal fit for many different careers. We talk about how career changes are common for many people who have different passions and interests. I am taking my own advice and following my aspirations to work in Project Management.
I will miss the Schwenksville community tremendously. The hardest part to walk away from is my daily interactions with the students– from lunch bunches, to classroom lessons, to individual check-ins; your children make education such a fulfilling career path.
The Perkiomen Valley School District team has hired an AMAZING replacement, Mrs. Molly Kent. I will be working with Mrs. Kent to help make the transition as smooth as possible.
Thank you for all of your support and for raising some of the coolest kids I know!
All the Best,
(School Counselor Grades K, 2, and 4)
We would like to thank Mrs. Hyman for all that she has done to support the students, staff, and Schwenksville Elementary School community. We wish her well in her new position and will miss her very much!
