Perfect Attendance

Today during our assembly, 25 students were acknowledged for perfect attendance. This group was randomly draw and we will continue to reward perfect attendance.

This week our $10 gift card was awarded to Ava Roberts!

Tardy to School and/or Class

Our goal is to have students attend school and be on time. If tardiness becomes an issue, the assistant principal, Mr. Knaus, will be having conversations with students and contacting parents. If tardy to class is an issue, teachers will be contacting parents and/or a parent meeting may be set up with Mr. Knaus.

Principal Message

Dear Lane Families,

Once again It was great to see so many families attend parent teacher conferences this week. We love making the connection with everyone and having the opportunity to share the learning at Lane. If you were unable to attend, your student's forward exam results will be sent home with your son/daughter next week.

We ended the day with wheelchair basketball game. UW Whitewater athletes came and shared their personal stories and talked about how we all have challenges to overcome. It is really up to the individual to decide what happens when they struggle.

It was a great way to end the week. It is always a proud moment when you can see the entire building energized around a common purpose.

8th Grade Career Fair

Monday November 19, 2018

8:00 - 10:00 am

Lane is excited to announce we will be running our second annual Career Fair on Monday November 19 from 8:00 to 10:00 am. We will again be using an arena-style format in our auxiliary gym with 8th graders visiting tables and gathering information about various careers.

This is where we need your help. Last year, we had many Lane parents volunteer their time and share their careers with our students. We are looking for professionals in any field to participate in the Career Fair. Please contact one of us if you can volunteer or if you know of someone that we should contact. Thank you so much.
