Message from the SWAMP

What an amazing week! Congrats to our District Track Champs! They worked hard and their efforts were rewarded with 1st place! Our grade 9's had their Outdoor Ed Canoe trip, great weather for a canoe trip! Stay tuned next week for pics!


We are building up our school supply of "low-tech" activities. If you have any board games, puzzles or cards etc. that are not being used you are more than welcome to donate them. Items can simply be dropped off in the office at anytime, thanks in advance!

Spring/Summer Gator Day Out!


Thursday, June 8th we have our final Gator Day Out of the year!!


To finish off our school year all Grades are invited to spend the day at Millennium Place, Sherwood Park. The many amenities include the aquatic centre, leisure ice, the gymnasium, indoor fields, the youth lounge & concession. Students will be bused from LA to the centre & will return to LA again at the end of the day. The total cost per student will be $15, permission forms have been sent home with students today & need to be returned by Friday, June 2nd. If you would like the fee to be applied to PowerSchool please advise the office.

Healthy Hunger Lunches

Only two more Healthy Hunger Lunches for this year! Get your orders in, next week is Wok Box!

If your child is away and has ordered hot lunch, please email or call the office by 11:00 a.m. to direct your child’s hot lunch. It can be given to a sibling/another student or can be picked up in the office starting at 12pm.

ATTENDANCE

If your child will be absent, please email la@spschools.org or call 780-460-3728 (this is 24 hrs and you can leave a voicemail)


If a student needs to leave early, the office MUST hear from a parent/guardian. Please email or call the office and we will allow the student to sign out & meet you outside (or walk home).


If a student will arrive late, they are to sign in at the office. If we have been informed the student will be late, that will be an excused late. Without hearing from a parent, the student would be marked as unexcused.
