Teacher Spotlight

Starting this month, we will showcase different teachers and what they are doing in and out of the classroom! This month we are spotlighting Mrs. Fields in PreK 4 and Mrs. Schlitzberger in MS Math and the Library!

Mrs. Fields comes to us from Moody Methodist as an Assistant Director. Before that she served at Holy Family Catholic School. She has a degree in Early Childhood, and her first love is PREK aged children. She is strong advocate for early literacy, and a sneak peek into her classroom will show she loves very hands-on lessons. We are blessed to have Mrs. Fields as part of our Fatima Family!

Mrs. Schlitzberger comes to us from Clear Creek ISD where she served as a technology, Robotics, and math teacher for many years. Last year, Ms. Schlitzberger served Fatima as a reading and math interventionist. This year she has moved into the role of Middle School math and Library Manager. Mrs. Schlitzberger has an impressive educational background! She is certified in multiple areas including Special Ed and Technology! Mrs. Schlitzberger is a huge asset to our campus taking on multiple roles on campus! We are blessed to have her here at Fatima!

Halloween and All Saints Day Celebrations!

Halloween: On October 31 all homerooms will participate in our annual Halloween parties. Please check with your homeroom mom to see what items you may need to bring for the party! Following the party we will have our Halloween parade! As part of our parade, we will be learning about All Hallow's Eve. All Hallow's Eve (Halloween) is part of our Church because it is really The Night Before All Saint's Day, which we celebrate on November 1 and is a Holy Day of Obligation. Celebrating Halloween--with all the fun, candy, and costumes--is also very important to our Catholic faith. Please join us for the parade to learn more about All Hallow's Eve!

COSTUMES: Costumes are allowed on Halloween, but please NO FACE PAINT. Masks may be worn DURING THE PARADE ONLY!

Parties will start at 1:30. We will NOT admit parents before 1:20. Please do not arrive before 1:15. Parade line up will begin at 2:15.

ALL SAINT'S DAY: Our Mass celebration for the week of October 28-November 1 will be on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1 in honor of All Saint's Day. We will NOT have Mass Wednesday of that week. Please dress your scholar in FULL MASS DAY uniform on Friday, November 1.
