CLASS OF 2021 GRAD INFORMATION
IMPORTANT INFO RELATED TO GRADUATION EVENTS & GRADUATION
Let’s celebrate the amazing Class of 2021!!
We want to share our current thinking around Senior Celebration Weeks beginning on Wednesday, May 26th with Parking Spot Chalk and Scavenger Hunt and culminating with the choice of an in-person or drive-thru Graduation on Sunday, June 13th. We know that this may change due to state/county/district guidelines, and we will adjust accordingly.
The vast majority of Seniors signified they wanted one in-person Graduation Ceremony in our Mountainside Stadium. A smaller number indicated wanting to take part in a drive-thru celebration.
Therefore, we are planning for one in-person ceremony at 1:00 on Sunday, June 13th.
For those who chose the drive-thru option, that will take place at 4:00 on Sunday, June 13th.
Reminder - in order to participate in the in-person Grad Ceremony, you will need a cap and gown. Go to jostens.com or call the school for assistance.
COVID guidance will dictate the number of people we can issue tickets to as we will follow social distancing protocols. Currently we will provide 4 tickets for each participating senior.
Masks will not be required outside, but families must sit 6 feet apart from other families.
Below is a list of all of the events occurring and specific details regarding each of our Senior Celebration dates!
For questions regarding Graduation events, please call the Main Office at 503-356-3500 or email VP Rod Barraclough at rodney_barraclough@beaverton.k12.or.us

WHAT TO BRING?: We plan on having a full house. We ask that families bring a chair or blanket to sit on, as some patrons may be seated on the field behind the graduating class. Bring water and an umbrella to the event as the sun might be on the warm side. Fingers crossed for no rain!! We will be seating in the grandstands on both sides and in folding chairs on the track laid out in pods of 2 or 4 people per grouping, based on our capacity level. We will mark areas in the grandstands with spray chalk where guests will not be able to sit. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. We will fill the grandstands and the chairs on the track first. In the event more space is needed for seating, we will provide seating on the field in socially distanced pods. Staff will direct families to the appropriate area.
In the event families do not use their 4 allotted tickets and there are extras available, we will distribute up to 2 extra tickets per family from a sign-up sheet that will be available starting at 8am on Tuesday June 1st. Students can contact Sue Neeway in the main office in-person or by phone and have their names placed on the list. Those who are awarded tickets will be contacted by Sue prior to the graduation event.
