A Note From Mr. Christ
Dear Paddock Families,
It is the final week of the 21-22 school year! It seems like just yesterday we were welcoming students back to Paddock, many for the first time in over a year. Even though this year included a wide array of challenges, including COVID guidance changes, bus driver shortages, and start time changes, this school year has still been an inspiring one.
This school year has shown me how resilient, flexible and dedicated our Paddock teachers, students, and community can be. Teachers kept finding new, creative ways to engage and excite our students. Students remained focused on their education and following the 3 Bs. The parent community remained understanding and supportive as the staff and District navigated change.
I am certain not all schools and communities went through this year with such success and positive attitudes. For that, I cannot thank you all enough. I am honored to be a part of the Paddock Community and wish everyone a great Memorial Day weekend and a wonderful summer break.
Sincerely-
Jason Christ

Summer Construction At Paddock School
The Paddock staff are already hard at work getting classrooms and the building ready for summer construction. Paddock school is getting quite a bit of work done on it including HVAC improvements, a new library, an updated main hallway, and new playground piece.
Due to this construction, Paddock school will not be accessible this summer. The Paddock front office staff and principals will be located at Gray M. Sanborn School starting Wednesday, June 8th. Please see Sanborn's address and contact information below.

Safe2Help Illinois
In the absence of a trusted adult, Safe2Help Illinois offers students a safe, confidential way in which to share information that might help prevent suicides, bullying, school violence or other threats to school safety. This program is not intended to suspend, expel, or punish students. Rather, the goal is to get students to 'Seek Help Before Harm.'
Safe2Help Illinois is a 24/7 program where students can use a free app, text/phone, website (Safe2HelpIllinois.com) and other social media platforms to report school safety issues in a confidential environment. Once vetted, the tips will immediately be shared with local school officials, mental health professionals and/or local law enforcement, depending on the nature of the tip. The program also will help local officials by connecting them with mental health resources or other appropriate resources to intervene and help students before they harm themselves or others.

2022-2023 Student Registration
Online student registration for the 2022-23 school year is now open. If you have not already started this process for your student(s), please visit our registration page to start this process.
Registration is the first step in getting ready for the up-coming school year. After you register your child online you need to:
Pay student fees. Our student fee webpage outlines the District’s student fee structure and the three ways fees can be paid.
If you have a student that is starting Kindergarten, entering fourth grade, or entering 7th grade, you are required to prove residency in District 15. Our residency webpage outlines the documents you will need to provide to prove residency.
All three steps of the enrollment process must be completed prior to the start of the school year. Students of families that, when required, do not prove residency, will not be able to attend class in a District 15 school until the family’s residency is verified.
Health Office
A reminder to parents of current 5th grade students that, next year, their 6th grade student will require a physical be turned into the school nurse. Start planning for this now. Reach out to Kathy Pool, the Paddock nurse, at poolk@ccsd15.net with any questions.
If your child has a Health Care plan for asthma or an allergy OR has medication they need to take at school, please make sure you read the linked documents and get in contact with Mrs. Pool, our Paddock nurse. You can reach her at 847-963-5802 or poolk@ccsd15.net.
