Please share these reminders with your students:
Smart Watches were a popular Christmas gift. Students may wear them if they are not accessing cell phone features such as calling and texting and as long as they are not a distraction from learning. If students are distracted by their watch, then they will be expected to put it away in their schoolbag. Repeated violations will be treated the same as cell phones - watches will be kept in the office until the end of the day. Next step would be that parents have to come pick it up. Please note: Students may NOT have Smart Watches in their possession during PSSAs.
The divider wall is broken in the open position in the multi-purpose room. Please remind students not to lean on the mats that are dividing the spaces.
Due to the number and variety of allergies in the building, students are reminded that there should be no eating on school buses. Also, just a reminder that we are a latex-aware building. With the holidays approaching, it is important to remember not to send toys and other items in to school that contain latex. We also cannot have poinsettias in the building. Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us maintain a safe environment for our students.
Students should be dressed appropriately for winter weather. We go outside for recess unless the wind chill is below 19 degrees.
