Winter Uniforms: It's now winter uniform time. Please be sure to send your child to school wearing a school sweater on the colder days that we may experience. St. Catharine School sweatshirts are reserved for students' scheduled physical education days, on normal days students are to wear their Flynn and O'Hara sweaters. Additionally, please keep in mind that students still go outside for recess unless we are experiencing severe weather and/or exceptionally cold temperatures- please continue to send them to school properly dressed with a warm jacket.

I am missing some Soccer uniforms and would like to check

them out so I can return uniform fees to parents. Thank you!!

I am encouraging all students/families to register and support the Christmas 5K run.

Dear St. Catharine’s School Parents:

As you may or may not know, last year we changed the run from Allaire State Park to St. Catharine’s School. We wanted more families/alumni to participate to run/walk and have a family day with Santa, activities, etc. This is our predominant fund raiser for the SCS Athletics program. The success of the fundraising event depends on our families. If your child/children participates on any of the teams you already understand the camaraderie our children experience and the pride they feel representing SCS.

You also know that if your child plays on a club team for a sport not offered at SCS, or does not gravitate towards sports, their pride intheir school and their friends is heightened by a strong athletic program.

That being said; please consider becoming a family sponsor, take an ad or volunteer and be part of the SCS Christmas 5K.

All of our coaches are volunteers and we are able to have almost 100% of our students participate in 1 sport or more.

The opportunity for our students to participate, play, improve their athletic skills, develop lasting friendship, learn teamwork and leadership is priceless.

Without you we would not be able to continue to grow and expand our Athletic program. Please come out and support the run. Thank you,

Ellen Meixsell Athletic Director

SCS Girl Scouts

(photo above)

Over the weekend the Girl Scouts at St. Catharines school went apple picking for charity. All the Girl Scouts that came were Leah Parekh, Ana Allario, Alice Kurtanick, Emily White, Maura Gilson and Ellery Jarmen. We would like to recognize the Girl Scouts for taking timeout of there day to pick apples for people that do not have food. I also would like to thank and recognize Mr. Gilson for taking all the apples to the charity
