Imagine Schools 16th Annual National Character Essay Contest

Imagine Schools 16th Annual National Character Essay Contest came to a successful conclusion on April 7, 2022. We are proud of the many young Imagine Schools’ talented writers that participated in this year’s contest. With 44 schools participating and 198 top entries, a panel of 17 judges read and were inspired by essays that demonstrated an understanding of complex maxims related to this year’s theme of Forgiveness. Students unpacked and responded to maxims related to the theme of Forgiveness. AND now, we are so proud to share that we had three winners from Imagine Broward. A big shout out and congratulations to our students:

Clinic Update

Hello Imagine families, please help us fill our clinic with volunteers. As our school year quickly winds down, some of you may find yourself in need of your much-needed mandatory volunteer hours. The clinic would like to give you an opportunity to get some of these hours by volunteering and donating your gently used uniform shirts, pants (uniform brand only) and much-needed clinic items.

Jessica, our clinic Coordinator, will be taking these donations & giving hours for them on the

Wednesday, May 11 (8:30-11:30). Please donate the following, hours given for time spent:

- 3 CLEAN UNSTAINED uniform pieces (tops or bottoms but bottoms MUST be uniform brand)

- clean sneakers

- band aids (80 count)

- Clorox wipes (big tub)

- SANDWICH SIZE ziploc bags (doesn't need to be name brand)

- latex free and powder free gloves

- Dixie cups (3-4oz size)

- TAPE whiteout

As well, if you would like to be added to our list of "clinic volunteers" please contact Jessica @ 954-471-2974 and she will put you on the contact list for next year. Please be advised that clinic shifts are ONLY from 8 to 12, 12 to 4 or all day and all worked hours count as double hours.

"We are the property management company for Pine Ridge Association. The Association is experiencing an increase in damage to the grass where the parents park and wait prior to pick up. We need to find a solution to this problem, as the Board of Directors are becoming quite frustrated with the costs incurred to replace sod and the irrigation broken by the vehicles."

Families, please remember to obey all traffic and parking laws to not only avoid tickets, but also to model good character for your children.
