School Supplies Orders

This year, the OCE PTA has partnered with a new company for ordering school supplies: Yubbler.com. When you purchase your school supplies on Yubbler.com, our school will receive 50% of the profits!


Not only will we receive a larger percentage of the sale for the school, but supplies will also be shipped directly to your house - no more Clopening pick-ups or first day of school scramble for supplies. In addition, you can opt out of supplies you already have at home from previous years or students!

5th Grade Parents:


Dr. Steidinger sent an email last week with details on the 5th Grade Sail Up Ceremony class times. Below is a reminder. Be on the lookout for more information on this fun, socially distant, parade to celebrate your student's accomplishment.

Open PTA Positions for 2020-21 School Year

The OCE PTA is still hard at work planning for next year. Interested in joining this passionate team of OCE parents? We have a variety of positions that can accommodate your time, skills, and schedule.


Below is a list of open positions:



Treasurer: Responsible for annual budget, monthly reports, and all deposits and expenses. Person should be detail oriented, available to pick up deposits from the school and/or deliver checks to the school or bank during school/bank hours.


Go Play Save - Selling Go Play Save coupon books is returning this year. This fundraiser takes place at the beginning of the school year and requires someone able to come to the school to manage distribution as well as money/book collection. We know many of you missed this fundraiser last year, so if you are passionate about Go Play Save, please consider helping this year! We need to fill this position ASAP!


Movie and/or Bingo Night - Plan and execute 1-2 fun social evenings at the school to foster community spirit.


Staff Appreciation Clopening Breakfast and Teacher Workday Meals: Coordinates clopening breakfast the week between the end of one school year and beginning of the next as well as teacher workday meals with local vendors as well as onsite needs for set-up around 7am and clean-up around noon. Note: These take place on teacher workdays when school is closed.


Walk to School Wednesday: Advertise and oversee Walk to School Wednesday from October to June. Walk to School Wednesdays are the first Wednesday of each month. Provide prizes, organizes special guests, etc...


Grant Writer: Research and apply for any grants for which the school may qualify.
