Thank you for an incredible day of professional learning!

Thanks to all who attended the Dispositions of Effective Education leaders on May 19, 2016, at the Harris County Department of Education.

DeBellis has an unparalleled way of interacting with learners, authentically listening to participants and facilitating thinking among leaders.

The Habits of Mind/Dispositions are something we could all connect to on many levels as leaders. No matter what position we hold, her challenge to us was one of sincere greatness.

Something that stuck with me from Thursday's session was the question she asked us all to think about. Who are you becoming as a result of your learning? Who will you intentionally choose to become through your daily choices, action, habits, etc. as a result of what you now know about yourself and others as self-directed, efficacious leaders?

DeBellis planted seeds in us all, and I want to provide a way for you to stay connected to the learning and the synergy created in room 502 on May 19, 2016. If you are interested, I am creating a place for you all to continue to interact with one another and with Michele DeBellis to share ideas, ask questions, celebrate successes, share learning opportunities that you would suggest doing differently, etc. Please see info below!

Thanks again for coming, and we look forward to seeing you again soon at HCDE!

In service with you,

Andrea Segraves
