Monday Minute
August 5, 2019
Welcome Back to School and New Teacher Edition!
Which conference is the only one in Indiana that focuses solely on middle school pedagogy and best practices? The IMLEA conference, of course! We also make it a point to include many classroom teachers as presenters. While numerous conferences charge hundreds of dollars, IMLEA members can attend for only $132/person. That fee includes breakfast, lunch, two keynotes, and five different breakout session time slots!
You may register your staff members (no price increase) and make hotel reservations (an increase of only $3 from last year. There is a price break for sending a team of four or more.
You can register now and submit names of attendees later. You can use a PD eLearning Day and send your entire staff! (Approval from DOE is no longer even required.)Our keynote speakers are Buddy Berry on September 29 and Lori Desautels on September 30. Following the Sunday keynote, you can enjoy a performance of the unique and AWESOME “Infinity 2” Rock Band from East Washington MS in Pekin, IN. You can see an annotated list of our breakout sessions here; uploading that document into wordart.com resulted in the graphic above.
