African Family and Community Pancake Breakfast

Dear LWSH Families and Caregivers,
Greetings LWSH Families, Caregivers, and Scholars,
We are coming very close to the end of the first semester, and we would like to give a shout out to all of our scholars, families, and staff for a great first half of the school year! The school's success is a result of a collective effort between all stakeholders that believe in who we are and what we do!
As we move through the month of December, I want everyone to be reminded of the importance of making it to school each and every day. We know that the winter months bring cold weather causing our overall daily attendance to decrease. With our Say Yes Coordinator, Mrs. Motley, in place, we are prepared to support our scholars and their families. So, we ask that you don't hesitate to reach out to us at 216-838-7100 to find out what resources we have to maximize learning opportunities for your scholar.
Next, I would like to take time to tell you about our OST and Study Skills Boot Camp. This after-school program in partnership with Esperanza, our study coaches will outline important test-taking strategies along with good notetaking and study habits. Classes will meet Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:30pm - 5:30pm in Room 215. See the flyer below and scan the code to register.
We look forward to your continued partnership as we move through the end of the first semester!!!
Sincerely,
Juliet King
Your Proud LWSH Principal
