What is our plan of action?
We can do this together...
Step One
Remove Oil Limitations- Removing the oil drilling limitations could result in billions more barrels of oil and gas to market. The CBO (congressional budget office) could increase U.S petroleum reserves by 30%. Also, they estimate that about 175 billion barrels of equivalent (BOE) exist in undiscovered oil and gas reserves on federal lands.
Step Two
Increase Oil Production- As a nation, we would produce lots of oil in the areas not limited by limtations now. We would be able to quench the oil thirst and need of oil around the nation.
Step Three
Conserve for future- After we increase production of oil and get more oil as a nation, we start putting some oil aside and conserving it. We save oil to keep for later use.
Step Four
Step Five
Step Six

Written Statement
United States New Oil Production
Our organization, United States New Oil Production (USNOP), is an organization that is committed to eliminating our dependence on foreign oil. We have created a 6 step plan that will effectively eliminate our dependence on foreign oil. Each step is a step towards a better country, a better economy, and a better place to live.
Our first step is to remove Oil Limitations. This will result in many more (billions) barrels of oil and gas to the market. The CBO (Congressional Budget Office) could increase U.S petroleum reserves by 30%, also they estimate that about 175 billion barrels of equivalent (BOE) exists in undiscovered oil and gas reserves on federal lands. The next step would be to increase the production of oil. We would have more access to areas that were once limited by limitations. We would be able to quench the oil thirst and need of oil around the nation.
After we increase oil production, we will begin to conserve it and save it to supply us for later use. We could increase the amount of oil the United States has, decreasing the need for foreign oil. Then we would increase oil prices around the nation to decrease the use of oil and gasoline. People would buy oil less, increasing the nation’s amount of oil.
After we would create a comprehensive energy policy. The policy would create a energy policy that addresses the short term and long term issues to reduce our addiction to oil by making better use of it. We would do the 4 steps above which would lead to a decrease in our national debt and an increase in our oil conservation.
The last step of our plan to eliminate the United States dependence on oil is to create a new vehicle technology that uses less oil (gasoline). We would manufacture and produce more solar cars and energy efficient cars that use less oil. The new cars could reduce our oil use by 25 billion gallons by 2030, we would be able to conserve so much more oil. We believe all these steps will eventually lead us to eliminating our dependence on foreign oil.
