Manor Scholastic BOGO Book Fair Next Week

Dear Parents and Families:
Our Scholastic Buy 1, Get 1 FREE* Book Fair will connect your kids to fun books and inspiring characters — helping them become lifelong readers while doubling their reading fun! Not only will your child be able to choose from a wonderful selection of titles, they'll also get one free book for every book they buy!
After missing out on many beloved traditions, our spring Book Fair will be a familiar, welcome, and safe event for our students. Here’s what you need to know about the Fair, which will take place from May 2nd- May 5th at the Manor Library:
- We need volunteers... We need YOU! Volunteering at the Book Fair is the perfect way to stay connected to your child at school and help students find the books they can't wait to read. Sign up now and get ready for a fun and rewarding volunteer experience.
- Our Book Fair offers eWallet, a safe and secure alternative to cash. Simply create a free account to add funds and/or invite family and friends to contribute so your child can select their own books. Any unused funds can be spent at The Scholastic Store Online or to fund a future eWallet.
- If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair beginning on May 2nd. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school.
Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more, sign up to volunteer and get started with eWallet!
We’re excited to celebrate our love of books together at the Book Fair. We look forward to seeing your child there!
Happy reading!

IMAGINE Day - June 17, 2022
The HFL District PTA is planning the annual IMAGINE DAY for our students. This is a day that involves the whole school and allows our students to explore hands-on activities that open their imaginations. The day includes; Inventions, Makers, Artists, Global Connections, Innovators, Nature and Engineers. In order to make this day a reality for our students, PARENTS, GUARDIANS, & GRANDPARENTS are welcome to engage students in one of the theme projects. We need you to share with our students your job, talents, hobbies or expertise. Any help you can offer - from planning and organizing an activity that uses your expertise, to donating resources, to showing up on the day to help kids explore. Any amount of time and effort is appreciated.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!

A Note From Our Nurse

We are seeing increasing Covid cases at Manor School this month. Please remember, if your child is sick, they should stay home until feeling well and symptoms have greatly improved. This includes nausea, stomach ache, diarrhea, sore throat, coughing and sneezing, headache that is unusual for your child, and nasal congestion/runny noses. Additionally, students must be fever free, without fever reducing medication, for greater than 24 hours before returning to school. A negative covid test is required for return to school after illness. We are now able to accept the results of rapid home tests, which should help with ease of testing. Thank you for working together to keep all of the kids in our district safe and healthy!
