Government Surveillance
EQ: How do we keep our personal lives private ?
Cause
Background
Ever since the 9/11 attack the NSA (National Security Agency) has taken surveillance to the next level. They are able to see everything we do on our electronics such as, our phones, tablets, and they can even see what we watch on our t.v.'s. The person below Edward Snowden released many pages of proof that the U.S. government can see everything that we do. There are certain ways to block the government from wiretapping your calls with other people to seeing what pictures you took yesterday.
Stop Watching Us: The Video
Edward Snowden (The Whistle-Blower)
Released hundreds of thousands of pages showing proof that the U.S. government was spying on our lives. He flew to Russia to seek asylum for economic reasons and he was granted. Now the U.S. is not able to punish him in any way. Although they can't get him in Russia, if he comes anywhere near the U.S. we are able to catch and arrest him.
