Arrival/Dismissal
8:45 AM - DOORS OPEN FOR STUDENT ARRIVAL (there is no supervision prior to 8:45 AM)
9:00 AM - school starts / instruction begins
3:50 PM - end of school / student dismissal

Temporary Distance Learning changes
Temporary Distance Learning (TDL) will no longer be offered. Parents should work with their student’s teacher(s) for assignments while students are absent.
2022-23 Classroom Assignment Parent Input form
During this time of year we begin the process of creating class lists for the upcoming school year. Since we believe that you have valuable information that should be considered, we want to give you the opportunity to provide some input. The following provides the process to allow parents/guardians to provide input into their student’s placement.
Summer Connections - SIGN UP TODAY!
LAST CALL!!!
Summer Connections is filling fast! This is a free program to support students who may benefit from continued instruction and routine. It is important to note that the material covered will be from the current school year, and is meant as remediation and extra support. This program is not for enrichment or challenging above grade level. Special education students who do not qualify for ESY are welcome.
It is open to all students currently enrolled in grades K-7, and will be held at three locations: Hunt Club, Southbury, and The Wheatlands. It is held Monday through Thursday, 8:45-11:45 for three weeks, starting on June 6th, and we ask that students attend all three weeks. There are DL sections for grades K-5 located at HC. The link to register is below.
Please note: decisions about which location students will attend and transportation details cannot be determined until registration is complete. If your child will require transportation, the registration form MUST be completed and submitted by Friday, April 15th.

ABC Countdown to summer begins April 22
To celebrate our last days together as a Boulder Hill Family for the 2021-22 school year, we have created some themed days as an ABC Countdown to summer. Students are encouraged to participate in as many days that they choose. Please see the attached countdown calendar.
Boulder Hill celebrates Earth Day April 22
Bouler Hill staff and classrooms will have the opportunity to participate in the Great Global Clean Up for Earth Day on Friday, April 22. Classrooms can participate by helping to clean inside of Boulder Hill and cleaning up the grounds around Boulder Hill on Friday, April 22.
2022 Boulder Hill Field Day
The 2022 Boulder Hill Field Day is just around the corner! The official date for this year’s field day will be Friday, May 20th. We are looking for volunteers to help run our Field Day stations. Field Day will be divided into 2 sessions. 3rd, 4th, & 5th grades will be from 9:15-11:15am and Kdg, 1st, & 2nd grades will be from 1:15-3:15pm. Please feel free to sign up for one or both sessions. To efficiently organize this event we are using an online volunteer website called SignUp.com

IN PERSON PLAYGROUPS - Now open at Long Beach Elementary!
- Who Wants to Play? This caregiver/child playgroup is a program provided by the SD 308 Family Support Center and is open to all SD 308 families with children five years and younger not yet attending Kindergarten. Caregiver/child playgroups work in partnership with parents to provide a variety of play experiences and activities that support the physical, emotional and social development of children.
