Empowering ALL students to achieve success, No Exceptions!
Tapteal Elementary Families,
Thank you for another great school year Tapteal Elementary. Thank you to all of our parents and families for your partnership in your child's education this year. Special thanks to our PTA who, as usual, went above and beyond to support our students and staff to add to our students’ already rich school experience.
I would like to thank our hard working and caring staff who have made a huge difference to our students this year. Their ongoing commitment to "Empowering all students to achieve success" was ever more apparent, with this year not being any exception. This could not have happened without the endless energy, skills, and devotion of the Tapteal Elementary staff. Thank you for providing rich and engaging, well-rounded experiences for our kids.
Thank you to all of our students, our Tapteal Hawks, who demonstrated resilience, the positive characteristics of a successful learner, and a commitment to the Tapteal big 3. They make Tapteal and our community a better place! Lastly, best wishes to our fifth graders moving on to middle school next year. We are so proud of them!
Have a happy and safe summer break. Spend time with family, play, and READ together. I look forward to seeing you all next school year. Go Hawks!

READ THIS SUMMER
Although your student no longer has their Chromebook at home they can still find many of the reading and other resources they accessed during the school year via the Launchpad. The launchpad can be found at Launchpad.rsd.edu (https://myapps.classlink.com/home). Once a student is logged into the Launchpad they will see the same interface they used on a Chromebook. The library folder for example has some great reading resources such as Bookflix and Pebble Go. Sora, an app for reading public library books online is also in that folder. Instructions on how to use Sora can be found in the Library Google Classroom. Happy reading!
Parents, make sure that all chromebooks and chargers are turned back into the school before the last day of school. Fines will be due for damaged or missing technology.
We will be in contact with those that are enrolled in summer school. See additional information here.
