Now this isn't what your typical Anonymous Group would look like. Anonymous groups are a local meeting of people in your community striving to succeed in sobriety or for people that are dealing with someone with an addiction.
Types of Anonymous Groups:
Alcoholic Anonymous
Alcohols Anonymous, otherwise know as AA meetings, are a foundation that aim for helping people dealing with an addiction to alcohol. Meeting typically look like a group of people gathered in a circle discusses problems that have or have overcome. People that attend these meeting don't always have an addiction but know someone that is struggling with one.
Ala-non/Alateen
This type of group is directed towards adolescents dealing with an addiction or know someone that has one. Meetings will look like a huddle of teens explaining their experiences when it comes to addiction. Local teens will share personal stories, and encourage other in the group to help them be at ease.
FA: Families Anonymous
Families Anonymous are people that have a loved one that is struggling with addiction. Families in the community come together to discuss the problems they are facing watching someone they care about have an addiction.
