Tier 2 RtI Intervention
DreamBox Basics
- Students need to spend 20 minutes 5 days a week.
- Consider using this as part of your active morning start or as two math rotations.
- DreamBox is an Adaptive Learning program. This means, it reacts to the student and meets them instructionally where they are. DreamBox dynamically adapts and differentiates in real time based not only on students’ answers, but also on how they solve problems.
- DreamBox DOES NOT give students multiple choices as answer options.
- Tier 2 students are assigned long-term assigned for targeted intervention. Students work for up to 10 weeks or until they demonstrate profeciency.

How do you monitor progress for Tier 2
AssignedFocus leverages the power of DreamBox curriculum.
Monitor student progress against goals by viewing:
- Time spent on the assignment
- Number of assigned lessons completed
- Total percentage of progress made
How does Dreambox work?
- Dreambox begins students in a lesson group. There are NO pretest or benchmark tests.
- Data is gathered and Dreambox opens up the next lesson the student neeeds.
- Student data helps create an adaptive learning pathway for each student.
- Data is collected from student response time, types of errors, strategies used in solving, and accuracy
