Thank(ful)giving at Webster

Students are doing a lot of giving back this fall at Webster as we enter the holiday season. Students are showing their kind spirits by sharing what they have with kids in their community and American soldiers serving abroad. We are so proud of how our students and your children work to make life better for others. When we put this into the context of the 7 Habits, we hear about having an abundance mentality. We think of this like a pie: when everyone gets a slice, we all win! Help us share a slice of pie with our two drives this Thanksgiving: Shoeboxes for Soldiers and Ozarks Food Harvest.

Shoeboxes for Soldiers

Webster Elementary is teaming up with 105.1 The Bull to hold a Shoeboxes for Soldiers drive. Each classroom will be collecting supplies to fill three boxes to send to soldiers serving overseas at Christmastime. We're collecting items like gum, hard candies, wet wipes, word search books, etc. Please join us in helping these amazingly hard working men and women who are spening the holiday season away from their loved ones. Items for our soldiers can be sent in through the month of November.

Food Drive Underway

Webster is collecting food items to donate to the Ozarks Food Harvest. Send your non-perishable food items with students through November 21st and help local families in need. The Ozarks Food Harvest is the regional food bank, which delivers food to community organizations like the Webster County Food Pantry. The food pantry then helps food insecure children and families in communities around Webster County.

No School for Thanksgiving Break

No school for Thanksgiving November 22-24. There will be no tutoring during that week as well.
