A Note From The Principal
Hello Patterson Families!
We had a great first full week of school with our students. They are getting back into school routines and learning new procedures. They are already working so hard. We're very proud of our students and thankful for the support of our Patterson families. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we begin a new year.
Our school hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:10 p.m., however our doors are open to students at 7:15 each morning. Breakfast is from 7:15 to 7:55 and students are considered tardy at 8:00 a.m.
Students begin Active Start this week. Kindergarten through Fourth grade will have a designated day each week for an additional Specials time. The schedule is below:
Monday - 1st grade
Tuesday - 4th grade
Wednesday - 3rd grade
Thursday - 2nd grade
Friday - Kindergarten.
When your child has "Active Start," they will go to the gym when they arrive on campus. Breakfast will still be available until 7:55 a.m. Staff will be in the hallways reminding students of their Active Start day.
Parents & grandparents are invited to eat lunch with their Pumas beginning on August 21st. We ask that you give our Pumas time to learn lunchroom procedures before having lunch visitors.
Now is a great time to sign up for your parent access account. This is a great way to keep up with your child's grades, attendance, etc.
Please follow Patterson Elementary and Patterson PTO on Facebook for updates, reminders, pictures, and campus happenings.
I am honored to serve the Puma community. At Patterson Elementary, it is our goal to create a safe, caring, and positive learning experience for all children. I will nurture a school community where parents, teachers, staff, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social/emotional growth. I look forward to working together to provide an outstanding learning experience for every Patterson Puma!
We are Patterson Pumas and we have PRIDE!

Car Rider Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Beginning Monday, August 21, 2023, we will begin a new car rider path for our Pumas. There is a slight difference between arrival and dismissal. The yellow path in the image below is for DISMISSAL. Once you turn into the driveway take an immediate right into our lot. Zig zag around the staff parking lot and then exit as normal. Bozman is extending their car line through the Stockton lot to get more cars off of 3083.
For Arrival only, do not zig zag through our car lot. We need to allow parking for Patterson staff. When you arrive tomorrow morning, turn into the driveway and take an immediate right into our lot. Please pull up to our loading/unloading area, instead of weaving through the staff lot.
We appreciate your flexibility and patience! Thank you.

News from the Nurse
Welcome back! Just a few reminders from the clinic:
Any medications whether over-the-counter or prescription, must be brought to the clinic by a parent or guardian in the original labeled container and be FDA approved. The students can not transport any medication. This is for your child’s safety.
Please be sure to notify the school of any phone number changes. We need the most current numbers in case your child needs to be picked up or there is an emergency situation. Keep your child at home if they demonstrate any of the following:
1.Fever of 100 degrees or more
2.Suspected contagious disease
3.Vomiting or Diarrhea
4.Severe stomachache, headache or earache
5.A child who is too ill to function in the classroom
Our goal is to keep your children safe, healthy and learning in the classroom. I hope this year will be full of great experiences for you and your child. I am excited to share in the journey!
