2021 HBHS Sophomore Registration
All the information you need for Sophomore registration!
Welcome Future Har-Ber Wildcats!
We are excited about you becoming part of the Wildcat family. Har-Ber High School is an amazing school. It has a strong reputation for academic success and it offers dozens of programs, clubs, and ways to prepare you for life after graduation. Over the past few years, HBHS graduates have been accepted to prestigious colleges and outstanding vocational programs. Our goal is to help you achieve your goals in life.
At Har-Ber, we focus on how we can meet the personalized needs of each student. This begins with selecting a House and classes that plan the pathway for graduation. Our teachers are committed to providing a rigorous curriculum that provides hands-on experience and critical thinking / problem solving skills.
In order to help families with course selection and to help answer questions, we have prepared a digital portfolio of information that will assist you and your family as you prepare for the upcoming school year. Within this newsletter, you will find information about HBHS Houses, course offerings, Career and Technical Education programs of study, flow charts for math and science, our bell schedule, FAQs, and a link to our virtual Rising 10th Grade Student / Parent Night. The virtual event will be held on Tuesday, February 2 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Within the schedule provided, you will notice links to different Zoom sessions. You may pick and choose which sessions you prefer.
In addition to the February 2nd night, our staff will work closely with SWJH and CJHS teachers, counselors, and administrators this spring. We will share resources that will help students and families as they select courses and register for the 2021-2022 school year. Our goal is to make the transition to Har-Ber High School as smooth as possible. Please note that student schedules will be available for pick-up in early August. We will also hold a 10th Grade Orientation this summer. Information about this will be shared in the Spring.
Please contact Har-Ber High School if you have any questions. Again, we are excited to have you as a member of the Wildcat family!
Sincerely,
Paul A. Griep
