We will be covering the standards of evaluation, when students are eligible, membership obligations, grade requirements, process of acceptance, induction ceremony, meeting times, dues, and timeline for the application process.

If your student is interested in joining it is mandatory that they sign the interest form. This can be done at the meeting or on the forms found on Ms. Garner or Ms. Dowling’s doors after the September 16th. The interest form must be signed by September 19th. Elective Class Spotlight

Each week we will highlight one of our new elective classes and let you have an "insider's look" at what's happening in the class.

This week we take a look into Anthony Graham's Intro To Public Speaking Class.

This 9 week elective class was been a very informative for students who needed to sharpen their public speaking skills. They have worked through lessons in speaking with confidence, how to interview, narrative and descriptive speeches, and hosting various guest speakers. Last week the classes had the privilege of listening to Steven Linehan, a Forensic Chemist, who was called in after 9/11 as a part of the response team to work at Ground Zero. He showed pictures and shared what it was like working at Ground Zero and being apart of history.
