Summer PD for Math and Science
Learn some great strategies to start out the new school year
Workshops taught by Crystal Kirch
She has transitioned to a new role (2014-present) as a Digital Learning Coach, working with teachers on integrating technology into their classrooms to support student learning. She presents nationally on technology integration, math, intervention strategies, and best practices. A BHS math teacher attended her presentation at the CUE conference last month and said that hers was the best session of the conference!
The first two days will be devoted to learning how to use Desmos and Geogebra, two digital math tools. The 3rd and 4th days will be devoted to learning how to create fun and interactive formative assessments to engage students and monitor their learning. In addition to formative assessment, the last two days will also focus on intervention strategies for all students.
