Words from Ms. Weaver
We have had a fantastic week. We celebrated Dr. Seuss, Purim and began MAPS testing for Kindergarten. All MAPS testing will finish this week and data will be sent home. Those who need interventions will have a letter with dates and times for tutoring. We strongly encourage you to have your child attend all tutoring sessions to ensure they make adequate progress.
Spring break is March 12th- March 16th, we wish everyone a safe and enjoyable break.
We have published all events on the webpage for the month and hope you will attend.
We have a PTO meeting on Tuesday at 5:00 P.M. We have technology night, we will be showcasing our 3rd-5th grade STEM curriculum.
On March 25th from 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M., we have an open house, please share this with any family, friends or co-workers. If you would like to attend and talk about your experience we would be delighted to have you do so.
We are starting with our new lunch vendor. If the lunches are anything like the taste testing we are in for a treat! Please be sure to order online. The information is listed on our webpage.
Thank you for all your pennies, we have hit our goal and have enough funds for the buses for our field trips. The buses do have seatbelts, so rest assured we always put our students' safety first.
Students participated in emergency response training in the event we have a serious situation occur. We do monthly fire drills and will also do 3 lockdown practice drills each year.
We have been heavily marketing our school, but the majority of new enrollment has come from word of mouth. We thank you for recommending us to your family, friends, and co-workers. Your trust in us is the best compliment.
Have a great week and enjoy the Spring Break!
Staci Weaver, Principal
