Preparing Students to be Future Ready

What does it mean to be Future Ready at SMUSD?

What does it mean for our students to be Future Ready? In this video, I share some thoughts about how we are bringing the Portrait of a Graduate to life in SMUSD. Big picture

Let’s Face It. Together. Mental Health program

It’s no secret that a rise in mental health concerns for youth have swept the nation. To build on our existing supports for students, SMUSD has partnered with the City of San Marcos to create a new mental health program for all SMUSD schools & students: Let’s Face It. Together.

By connecting students with additional services, including our new Wellness Teams and a 24/7 crisis text line, the goal is to improve their mental health and quality of life.

For details on the program, please visit: www.smusd.org/mentalhealth

LCAP Survey

The annual Local Control Accountability Plan, or LCAP, survey provides SMUSD parents/guardians, staff, students, and community members the opportunity to share feedback about our programs and services. Your input is crucial in developing the goals, actions, and budget priorities for our district. Please click here to take the anonymous survey.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement as we strive to create an exceptional educational experience for every student.

Sincerely,
