Academic Specialist Survey
Dr. Jones sent out an Academic Specialist Survey a couple of weeks ago. Only 7 people, including me, have completed it. Please complete this survey before Winter Break to let the supervisors know how AWESOME Dr. Fowler is. Email Dr. Jones for the link if you can't find it: joseph.jones@ccstn.org

Supervision
I need to ask for your help in supervising students in the bathrooms. Classes/groups of students should NEVER be sent to the bathrooms without adult supervision. Let's be as proactive as possible in regards to managing student behavior.
HHS Stockings
Harpeth High School is collecting money to stuff stockings for families in our cluster. If you'd like to donate any money, you can turn it in to Mrs. Dawn, and she'll pass it on.
SRO
Brandon Scruggs, our new SRO, will begin full time on Monday, December 17. This is a great week to invite him to your classes to introduce him to your students, have him be a guest reader, or visit your class for anything special going on next week.
Retentions
If you are concerned about a student's academic progress and are considering recommending that he/she be retained, parent meetings must be scheduled in January and an action plan must be completed by the end of the month.
Tara Smith
The county has hired Tara Smith as an additional behavior interventionist. If you are concerned about a student's behavior and have already referred them to Centerstone, and Laura has worked with them, but there seems to be no improvement in behavior, she is another resource to utilize.
