Macbeth
King of Scotland after Duncan
How would you like to be king?
If you were in Macbeth's shoes, would you murder your friend?
Power-hungry
He killed the king even after he said he would not do anything to speed the process of him becoming king.
Cautious
He killed both of the guards so the scene would not look suspicious.
Coward
When he was the king, he ordered ruffians to kill Banquo and his son so he would not risk being killed himself.
Reflection
This story was interesting because Macbeth did not wan't to kill the king ("If chance will have me king, why chance may crown me without my stir.") but he killed him anyways. I think he killed him because the thought of all of the power he would have overwhelmed his pledge to not do anything to speed the process. I was also surprised that he killed his best friend Banquo to protect his secret of killing the king.
