Gratitude for Generous Giving
We Say Good-bye to Mr. Rice
"The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives," Ps. 37: 23. This month we will say good-bye to Mr. Rice, our Assistant Principal, as he and his family move back to Klammath Falls, OR. They will join their extended family there, and establish their home in the town they grew up in. We have been blessed to have Mr. Rice and his family at NCCS for two years and pray God's blessing over them as they move on. January 17 will be his last day at the school.
Thank you Mr. Rice, we will miss you and your family!
URGENT NEED FOR HOST FAMILY
- We have a short term opportunity in January, when 10 high school students from our Christian sister school in Korea will visit NCCS during an educational experience trip. The students will arrive on January 11 and need a host home through January 31.There is a housing stipend ($450) provided to cover expenses of hosting a student, and two students per host family is an option. During this visit, along with gaining insight of American culture through the home stay, the students will attend 9 days of school at NCCS, tour local businesses, and participate in planned activities with their school. Their teacher is traveling with them and will be on our campus.
- There are two 9th grade girls from Japan that will study for 3 months, 1/25-4/16/20, at NCCS. We need two school families to host these girls and provide them with a Christian home during their stay. There is a housing stipend ($2250 for 3 months) paid to the family to host a student. This short term opportunity is a perfect way to learn about another culture and share Jesus.
If you are interested in hosting and want to complete the application, or have questions, please contact Jodi Gill, International Program, at jodi_gill@ncchristianschool.com, and Emily Clark, Business Manager, at emily_clark@ncchristianschool.com.

Items to keep you informed...
Drama Program News
In light of this news, we will pursue new applicants to fill this position. Additionally, auditions for the spring production will be delayed until further notice. We are sensitive to disappointments this may cause within our community, but are confident God hears our prayers and will provide for our needs.
Annual Auction...SAVE THE DATE!
Prepare to relive the 80s at the NCCS auction on May 2, 2020!
The next auction team planning meeting is Jan. 19, 6:30 pm in the Library. Our committee is asking for you to consider, "Who do you know who can work with us to make our event successful?" We are asking for donations of vacation rentals (Mexico, Hawaii, Sun River, Oregon Coast, ....) and experiences (guided fishing trip, hot air balloon ride, in-home chef, professional sporting event...) to offer at the auction. Can you, or someone you know, provide these type of items? Maybe you have a skill to share that someone else would bid on?
ATTENTION: Here are the Sign Up Genius links to the auction class basket project. We appreciate your donations and help in making these baskets come together by the end of February!
Kindergarten - 1st - 2nd - 3rd - 4th - 5th - 6th - 7th-8th - 9th-10th - 11th-12th
If you have questions, are wanting to make a donation, or would like to work with the auction team, please contact Susan Van Sickle at joyfilled99@gmail.com. Attached below are donation and sponsor forms for those wish to partner with us in this way
