Start with Scratch

Use the CS-First tutorials to start learning about Scratch.

If you don't have a Scratch account, use the one in your CS First passport in your orange bag.

You can go through the High Seas Adventure 1 hour project tutorials, or try starting the longer program tutorial in Art, Game Design, Storytelling or more! All the tutorial videos are there to help you along the way.

Check Out Bitsbox!

Want to work with Javascript and text based code? Try Bitsbox. Scott Lininger, the CEO of Bitsbox will share at our opening remarks this morning. You can try Bitsbox by using the Let's App guide in your orange bag. You can also try one or more of the cards that are in the file box. (Just please remember to put them back when you are done).

A beginning account has been set up using your first name1 and the password eagles. (If there are two of you with the same first name, it will have your last initial.)

Bitsbox apps can be shared by copy and pasting the link to your program or scanning the QR Code with a phone or tablet.

For students outside the San Elijo group - follow the link below to get started. There are lots of free resources.
