CHOOSE KIND, SHARE A SMILE (4TH & 5TH GRADERS)
Dear Parents of Bennett 4th and 5th graders,
An order form was sent home with 4th and 5th grade students. WE are offering Kindness t-shirt orders again this year. The goal is to stress to students and staff the importance of being kind to one another, how we’re all in this together, and choosing to spread kindness is always a good choice! We will be having special days throughout the year to wear these shirts. As a part of these events, we are making t-shirts available for the students and staff. Last year’s shirts said “Kindness Matters”. This year we are offering “Choose Kind, Share a Smile” shirts, which will also have “Bennett Elementary School” on them (on the sleeve). We will have days throughout the year where we encourage them to wear these shirts. Either shirt can be worn on those days for those who ordered last year and may choose not to order this year. It is not required that you purchase T-shirts, but if you would like to, please return the form with your preferences and your payment. If you are unable to do so at this time, please contact Amy Balluff at 701-446-4051. Each shirt is $9. Please return the form with payment by Tuesday, September 17th, 2019.
If you are the parent of a 4th or 5th grader and do not have a form, it is attached below.

GREAT PLAINS BACK PACK PROGRAM
We currently have openings for students who would like to participate in the Back Pack Program. The Back Pack Program provides a bag full of kid-friendly, shelf stable food for Bennett students to take home and eat. They’ll receive foods like cereal, pudding, fruit, granola bars, microwavable meals, snacks and other items. Students will receive bags every Friday while they are enrolled in the program. The program is a partnership between Bennett Elementary and the Great Plains Food Bank. The program is free to our families and funded entirely through community grants and private donations. If you feel your child(ren) would benefit from this program, please contact Amy Balluff at 446-4051.
