Message from the Principal
Happy New Year! I would like to extend best wishes to all for a happy and healthy new year. It has been a pleasure to see all of the children during their virtual meetings. I am so proud of how well our Gator students adjusted to virtual learning over the past two weeks. It is fantastic to have teachers and staff back on campus, just missing our students.
We are excited and overwhelmed with joy to have our Gator students back on campus Tuesday, January 19th. We welcome back 31 students from our Chandler Online Academy.
Parents, the last two weeks have given me time to reflect with our staff on how we can continue to keep our students safe, healthy, and happy on our campus. We are dedicated to keeping our students on our campus. Below I will recap our mitigation strategies that have been put in place since we returned to our campus.
As always, please contact the school regarding any questions you may have.

- To and from the restroom
What are the protocols for restroom use and refilling of water bottles?
Restroom
Students have access to restrooms throughout the day. We are asking students to take a bathroom pass to the bathroom and hang it outside the bathroom on a hook so other students can see how many students are in the restroom. Teachers may take their class on a bathroom break also. Whole class breaks are monitored by teachers to make sure students are keeping social distance and properly washing their hands.Water Bottles
Water bottles are required to be labeled with the student's name. Students may refill their water bottles in the classroom and the Cafe. Our six grade team has 3-gallon jugs out in the classroom to fill bottles.
*Parents, please ask your child/ren teacher if they would like water bottles donated to their class. It is important that your child/ren come each day with a water bottle filled up to start their day.
Parents We Need Your Help!
Please send your student with water and a mask every day.
