Vol. 1, No. 1 - August 1, 2019
Thursday, August 1st, the UCISD Head Football Coach and Athletic Director, R.T. Gonzales, will host a Pre-Season Football Parent Meeting. This meeting will be for all incoming 7th-12th graders interested in playing football this school year. As of now, the meeting will take place in the Morales JH Cafeteria at 6:30 P.M. If a change in location occurs, you will receive a notification on the Uvalde Sports App, and information will be posted on our social media pages. This meeting will cover important topics such as practice schedules, expectations, general football rule changes, travel report, and more.

18th Annual Wellness Fair Carnival
Please join us on Friday, August 9th from 4:00pm-7:00pm in the UHS Cafeteria for our 18th Annual Community-Wide Wellness Fair Carnival.
Join more than 60 partner agencies for this special event that will provide your family with health and wellness information, plus screenings for diabetes, blood pressure and much more!
First Day of School
Anxiety and the Beginning of a New School Year
MJH Football practices will begin the first week of school. Coaches will share more information about this at the football meeting above and on the first day of school. The first football games of the season will be on September 10th.
MJH Volleyball practices will also begin the first week of school. Players should expect to receive information from coaches on the first day of school, as well. The first volleyball games of the season will be September 5th.
MJH Tennis information will be distributed through the coaches.
