The signs of an abused child
These are the top 5 Signs a child is being abused:
- Unexplained Injuries; if the child can't explain how they got that bruise.
- Changes in behavior; if they go from playful to violent drastically.
- Fear of going home; they make excuses to stay where they are longer.
- Changes in eating; they eat less or more.
- Changes in sleeping; they can't sleep.
Physical Abuse

Neglect is the another of the three types of abuse. Neglect is when a parent doesn't give the necessary needs and care to their child.

Over 1 million children are abused annually in the U.S. A new child abuse case is reported every 10 seconds, but there's more than 3 times more cases that go unreported. It's important to the child's physical and mental health that they get help as soon as possible.
