JR Stopka
Position: ACSD Head Bus Mechanic
Background Info:
I was born and raised in Bradford, NY., where I lived on a farm and had a tremendous amount of chores.....but it's also where I met my beautiful wife Theresa. I now live in my camper at the Bus Garage. I enjoy sitting around the campfire by myself and love living everyday as the last, while also working at Avoca Central School.
Favorite Food:
My favorite breakfast is sausage gravy and biscuits from the Windmill, and favorite dinner is sushi from the truck stop.
Hobbies:
I really enjoy riding trails with my dogs in the BRONCO. I also enjoy saying, 'You can't fix stupid', fixing and rebuilding old broncos. To be honest, all of my spare time is either covered with mud or grease or sitting by a campfire.
Thank you, Mr. Hargrave!
Mr. David Hargrave joined sixth grade to teach a brief history of the flag, share some of his own life history, and encourage students to step outside of their comfort zone. Students were taught the proper way to fold the flag, put the flag up, and take it down with respect. We are so grateful for the opportunity to share in Mr. Hargrave's love of his country and to pass that on to the next generation.
