THE 8 KEYS OF EXCELLENCE were developed by the Quantum Learning Network by studying people who had achieved great success while maintaining personal excellence. People are often influenced by our behavior and choices and these principles help us to create a positive environment and foster success. These are principles and strategies that we would like to see our students practice here at Lago Vista Middle School. Talk with your child about these principles and reinforce them at home. Please click on the link above to learn more about each of these principles.
On the 8 Keys of Excellence website, you can Enroll Your Family to access the Family Portal and “8 Keys Focus on Family” program.

Trip Details
This trip will allow students to explore many of the natural habitats of animals and plants they study in their classrooms. Students have the opportunity to board a research vessel and investigate living creatures from the depths of the bay in order to observe adaptations. They may also use the pier lab to further study the creatures from that area. In addition, the students will visit the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, and the estuary and marshlands of Port Aransas. This is an outstanding educational opportunity for children, and a great way to end their elementary experience. Students will travel to Corpus Christi to view the aquarium and then go on to Port Aransas on the first day. In Port Aransas they will perform experiments and explore the beach area.
