CSCI Survey
The School Climate Survey will soon be open and ready for staff, students and parents to take. it is a vital source of data that is reviewed by the ILT to set direction for school improvements. Some information:
- 3-5th grade students are able to take the survey on their Chromebooks beginning October 15th. An app will be pushed out to the Chromebooks for students. Please take time to have ALL students take the survey some time next week. I encourage you to read each question with your students to ensure their understanding of the questions and how to rate them. I have included directions for students below.
- All teachers and staff will take the survey during PLC time on Wednesday, October 24th. Please come to the computer lab at 2:25pm. Once you are done with the survey, you may return to your classrooms for grade-level PLC time. If you are not at DGS for PLCs, you are welcome to stay after a shift to complete the survey. This includes custodians, aides, playground supervisors, and office staff.
- If you have a question about the survey, please see me.

Positive Office Referrals
I am keeping a list of which students have earned a positive office referral if you'd like to see your classroom.
Mrs. Kraushaar has submitted 13
Mrs. Lanser has submitted 13
I encourage you to recognize the students in your classroom and share their successes. The positive phone call home, honor wall in the office, picture on the wall, and ringing of the bell really makes a positive impact.
