Riley Days
Our school participates in Kids Caring & Sharing for Riley Hospital, a special project of the Indiana Association of School Principals. On March 20-22 we will be holding our annual “Riley Days.” Each student is invited to participate! We are asking students to consider a $5.00 donation in exchange for participating in “dress up days” and participation in our Riley Volleyball.
Students may bring their donation anytime during the week of March 18th. Students will receive a small token of appreciation from Riley Hospital for their generosity.
On Friday, March 22nd, students will show off the volleyball skills they have been learning in PE class by competing against other classes in their grade level. Winning classes will take on the teachers in a final match.
Third Grade will compete from 8:00-9:15 and Fourth Grade from 9:30-10:45. Parents are welcome to attend.
The “dress up days” will be as follows:

Positive Male Role Models Needed!
We NEED you! On Thursday, March 21, 2019 Sheltering Wings and Men IN Action will enlist 440+ male volunteers to go into each Hendricks County elementary school classroom to read a book that focuses on important character traits such as support, positive identity, positive peer influence and commitment to learning. The goals of this event are to teach and prompt conversations with children about important character values, engage in a volunteer opportunity and show our community that we are a community that stands for healthy values and relationships. This is a great opportunity to have a positive influence on our youth and lead with intention.
