Should Students have homework over holiday breaks? Yes or no?

After reading a Scholastic News, the students participated in a friendly debate. The topic? Whether or not students should have homework over holiday breaks. As you can tell from the first picture...most students feet they should NOT have homework over holiday breaks. The second picture shows that a couple of students were swayed to the other side and decided we should have homework over breaks. The students were excellent listeners of their peers thoughts and did a wonderful job sharing their points of view.

Winter Gear...

As the weather gets colder and more snow accumulates on the ground, please make sure your student is coming to school with the proper winter gear for playing outside. We will continue to have recess outside as long as the temperatures remain above zero. Students will only be allowed in the snow with snow pants and boots. Thank you!
