HARWOOD SCHOOL GARDEN NEEDS A FEW SUMMER VOLUNTEERS

https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080e4ca9aa28a3f94-harwood

Harwood parents & students we're looking for volunteers to help keep up with weeding the garden this summer. Weeds took over the garden last year & affected some of the produce.

We're looking for volunteers twice a month to keep up with the weeds so it isn't a lengthy process. You will need to bring your own gardening/weeding tools and garbage bag to haul away the weeds. Watering will be set on a timer so no need to worry about that.

The plan is to use the produce in the lunch salad bar for the students to enjoy. Pumpkins were planted and depending on how many grow they will be given to kindergarten students.

We hope this is a fun community learning experience for everyone.

Thank you in advance for helping with our school garden!!
