Semester 2 to-do list
Be ready for Semester 2 on Monday!
- If you have new classes, you will need a notebook and folder for each class.
- It may be time to inventory and restock pencils and pens!
- Take this weekend to EMPTY your backpack, sort through the contents and start fresh on Monday with a clean, organized bag!
- It would also be beneficial to clean out your folders and notebooks before Semester 2 begins.
- WAIT until next week to leave Semester 1 Google Classrooms as teachers may still be grading your coursework and if you exit the class, they cannot access your work.
- Clean our your email inbox!

****STUDENTS MUST WORK WITH THEIR CASE MANAGER TO REQUEST A SCHEDULE CHANGE if receiving SPED Services****
If your schedule change adheres to the guidelines, we request that you arrive to your Counselor for a schedule change during the hour that needs changing. Counselors are not taking appointments next week so that we can be available to students for these requests.
*Please be patient with us. We want you to have your perfect schedule, however there are classes that need to be balanced and we are unable to change entire class sections or add new ones. We ask that you understand that there are factors outside of our control and it doesn't mean that we don't care or want what is best for you. We will do our best to help.*

Nutrition Services News
RWHS Food Pantry
We know that a full tummy means a brain that's ready to learn! Thanks to generous donations from our community, RWHS has a food pantry accessible to ALL students grades 8-12. Students can leave school with a very discreet bag of food or personal care items to take home to their family-for free. There are no restrictions on who can use this or how many times.
Contact the nurse, your counselor or a teacher to sign up.
You may also email nurse Vikki at vlleclaire@rwps.org.

New Classes = Time to set adjust NOTIFICATIONS in Google Classroom!
The default settings in Google Classroom will have you receiving a LOT of emails from each of your seven classes, ultimately cluttering your inbox and making it a less-effective tool. Follow this video to change your settings for notifications in each course. This is a one-time task that will make a big difference in keeping your email inbox usable this semester!
New Semester = Time to clean our your EMAIL INBOX!
As we enter the second half of the school year, it's a good time to all students to clean out their email inbox and start with a nice, clean usable inbox so you can easily find the emails you NEED, like the weekly newsletters and emails from your teachers. Follow the video below to easily and quickly delete a bulk amount of emails.
