Benedict Arnold

Benedict Arnold, Born 1/14/1741 in Norwich,CT. He was a patriot officer who took part in the American Revolution as a Brigadier General. In 1779 he went to the British allegiance. He lead a fleet to help capture Quebec which was reinforced by Richard Montgomery, which failed because Montgomery was killed and Arnold was badly injured. Crippled from his wounds he was placed in command of Philedelphia where h talked and socialized with families that are loyalists. In the end Arnold to England and permanently stayed in London due to him not being able to obtain a regular commission in the British army. He later died in June 14,1801 in London.
