Welcome Back to School
Hello, parents and students! One quick update before the start of school. Our superintendent has announced that all staff, students and visitors on any DISD campus and facility will be required to wear a face covering.
We are looking forward to an outstanding 2021-2022 school year that kicks off on August 16, 2021. Here's a few reminders:
Dallas ISD will be back to in-person learning, districtwide. There will be no virtual option for students.
Dallas ISD will keep nine-week grading periods next school year as part of a broader effort to help mitigate learning loss and further support students. This reduces the number of district common assessments, but students will still take the state required STAAR and End of Course exams.
There are three different Dallas ISD 2021-2022 school year calendars. Visit www.dallasisd.org/schoolcalendars to see which calendar your school has. SBM will remain on the base calendar.
All new and returning students must be enrolled for next school year. Visit www.dallasisd.org/enroll to enroll online, call 972-925-5960 for general questions, or visit a Dallas ISD One Center for in-person enrollment assistance. Visit www.dallasisd.org/one for One Center locations.

Masks are MANDATORY on Campus
Due to CDC recommendations and the red level alert issued by Dallas County based on the rise of hospitalizations among all age groups, including children, Dallas ISD will temporarily require all staff, students and visitors to wear masks while on district schools and other facilities effective Tuesday, Aug. 10. Dallas ISD is committed to maintaining the safety and well-being of students and staff and will continue to provide masks and other protective equipment to schools, conduct contact tracing and sanitize facilities regularly. If you have any questions about this requirement, please contact your child’s school directly. To look at other safety COVID measures implemented by the district, please visit www.dallasisd.org/covidsafety.
Bus Routes for 2021-2022
All posted times for bus stops are approximate as there are several variables which may contribute to arrival times such as weather, traffic and other unexpected factors.
We strongly encourage our parents to download the My Stop App which will provide parents / guardians with GPS and approximate arrival time information for the bus in route.
Find Your Bus Stop Here (Only for Neighborhood Schools) - This search is specific to the grade level and home address provided. The system will provide route number with bus arrival time in the a.m. as well as arrival time in the p.m.
