*Students must adhere to the uniform policy unless otherwise stated. Shoes should be closed toe and adhere to the uniform policy every day; out of uniform shoes causes a safety hazard. Students should come to school attired in age appropriate, non-distracting attire. This includes no inappropriate sayings, images, or messages. Face and/or body paint is not allowed. Bottoms should be fingertip length, and tops must cover the shoulder, stomach, and back.

MEET MRS. PEAK
What inspired you to be a teacher?
Mrs. Peak loves to read and help people. She also loves technology which all rolled into one job.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
She is going to still be a librarian because she loves it at DMS.
What is your favorite thing about summers?
Mrs. Peak's favorite thing about summers is the time with family.
What has been your biggest challenge from being a librarian?
She said helping those who don't like to read and trying to find a book that will help them read.
What are your hobbies outside of being a librarian?
Mrs. Peak said she likes doing fun activities with her kids, likes watching movies, plays, concerts, reading, and traveling.

WINTER DANCE
- What? The First Ever Daphne Middle School Winter Dance
- When? Saturday January 23, 2015 6 p.m - 9 p.m
- Where? Daphne Civic Center
- Dress code? Semi-formal party dresses for ladies and Sunday best for the gentlemen
- DMS STUDENTS ONLY
- Cost includes admission, professional DJ for your entertainment, door prizes, and a full dinner to include but not limited to: pulled pork sliders, mac and cheese cups, loaded mashed potatoes, chicken tenders, mini subs, fruit, veggies, cheese, dessert table, tea, punch, water and a hot chocolate bar.

Dessert Crepes
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Add all ingredients to list

- In large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, flour sugar and salt until smooth.
- Heat a medium-sized skillet or crepe pan over medium heat. Grease pan with a small amount of butter or oil applied with a brush or paper towel. Using a serving spoon or small ladle, spoon about 3 tablespoons crepe batter into hot pan, tilting the pan so that bottom surface is evenly coated. Cook over medium heat, 1 to 2 minutes on a side, or until golden brown. Serve immediately.

Audrey Hillis is a very talented softball player that plays for DMS and is very good at blocking the ball. She thinks that they are going to do very well year and are going to be doing a dodgeball tournament to raise money for their team. They will be separating the team and will be playing dodgeball against eachother.
