The Heritage and Environmental Center Field Trip
Field Trip
Good Afternoon, Parents.
The students were excellent on our way there. Some students had a device and this kept them occupied during the trip.
Our field trip on Friday was eventful! We had the opportunity to look through some microscopes and see some living and non-living organisms. They were actually moving, which was so cool. We talked and learned about how bacteria is spread from one person to another...ask your child about it, they will be able to tell you who was infected!
In all, we had a good time and another field trip will be sent home in the very near future. Our next stop...Stone Mountain for Social Studies.
Buenas tardes, padres.
Nuestra siguiente parada... Montaña de Piedra de Estudios Sociales

What are We Learning About?
Social Studies and Reading
For the next couple of weeks we are going to be continuing our learning about life after the Civil War. It is a very interesting time of American History, so please ask and discuss with your child what they have been learning. If they have to explain it to you, they will remember it and they will be impressed that you are interested!
In Reading, we are continuing to learn how to THINK and respond to questions about our thinking. Please remember that your child should be reading at least, 20-25 minutes every night. This is the ONLY way they will improve and move higher up the reading levels.
Again, thank you for your support.
Padres,
