Neo Classical Architectural Style
By Kaylee Jones
The Neo Classical architectural style usually will have some unique features including columns and a pediment. This house here has some features that make it neo classical styled. The first feature that you can see is the columns. The columns are the main give away for a neo classical style but having the deck above also is a unique feature that is took from the greek historical style we now call neo classical. The next feature we can see is that this house has symmetry. Neo classical styles usually have beautiful symmetry to draw the piece together nicley. The last feature is the pediment which is at the top of the house above the columns but on houses are more commonly seen above the door, an example is under the text here. A pediment is a piece on neo classical styles where above the door will be a triangular top.
