AUCTION NEWS

The auction is less than a month away! Proceeds from the auction supports Sierra’s amazing IB program and the school’s students, teachers, and staff. Here’s the latest:

  • Auction items: Please contact us to donate items for the auction, such as travel/destinations, one-of-a-kind experiences, merchandise, services, swag, gift cards, etc.

  • Business donations made by Tuesday, March 8 will be featured in the auction program, banner, and on PTC social media.

  • Event volunteers: Make this year’s auction a success by volunteering to help before or during the event.


PTC BOARD NOMINATIONS FOR 2022/23 SCHOOL YEAR

The PTC has started planning for the next school year. If you are interested in more information, nominating someone for the board, or would like to volunteer for one of our fundraisers or community events, please complete the form linked below.

We will announce the nominees later in March and will vote in the 2022/23 board members at the April 20 general meeting (6:00pm).

Donations Needed

We are in need of 4-6oz Dixie cup-style cups for our sharks! When they get thirsty and have forgotten their water bottles, these come in handy! You can drop them off at the front office.

Please come take a look at our lost & found located in the back parking lot before and after school. It is overflowing with jackets and other items.

Are you cleared to volunteer or chaperone a field trip?

To ensure compliance with RUSD and the state of California's volunteer policies, parents who wish to volunteer on campus during the school day must have:



RUSD Policy:


  • Fingerprinting completed for RUSD specifically. Prior fingerprinting done for any agency or organization other than RUSD will not be accepted. Fingerprinting takes approximately 72 hours to clear.
  • Current Tuberculosis Test (TB). TB tests expire every 4 years and must be renewed in order to volunteer. TB Tests take approximately 48-72 hours for results and results must be brought to the office.

State of California Policy:

  • Vaccination status or proof of a current negative COVID test uploaded to the link included in the email from Informed K12. If you have not received this email, please let the office know. Details about this are included in the Informed K12 email.

Nutrition Services 2021-2022

Lunch may be picked up for RVC students from 11:30 - 12:00 Monday - Friday from our school cafeteria. Our Nutrition Services Website has the menu for the month so your shark knows what they will be sinking their teeth into each day.
