Weekly Words from Wildwood #6

A glimpse into this week's happenings at your child's school

Distance Learning Canceled Due to Extensive Amounts of Evacuations

As many Hawk families and staff members know firsthand, Distance Learning took a pause while Yucaipa families evacuated their homes, lost internet, lost power, or hosted evacuees in their homes. We are grateful that none of our Hawks are hurt; possessions are replaceable, but we could NEVER REPLACE YOU!

Wildwood teachers and staff are looking forward to reconnecting with our Hawk friends in virtual classrooms on Monday morning at 9:05am!

A Hurting Hawk Receives Help from His Wildwood Family

Mesa View student, Nickoli Foster, who is forever a Hawk from Mrs. Bigg's and Mrs. Hamilton's class at Wildwood Elementary, lost his home to the El Dorado fire. Nickoli, his sisters, and grandparents were surprised by the outpouring of community support, coordinated by his beloved Wildwood teachers. You matter!
